Equal justice under law is a phrase engraved on the front of the United States Supreme Court building in Washington D.C.  It is also a societal ideal that has influenced the American legal system.

Equal Justice Under Law is an American civil rights organization in Washington, D.C., founded in 2014, which accepts cases on a national basis. The organization has been active in cases where poor criminal defendants have been jailed due to inability to post bond or pay fines.
