Dream
Dreams are successions of imagesideasemotions, and sensations that occur usually involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not definitively understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. The scientific study of dreams is called oneirology.

D Ream
D:Ream is a Northern Irish pop rock and dance group. They had a UK Number One hit with "Things Can Only Get Better" in 1994 as well as eight more top 40 hits. They released two albums, both of which reached the top five. The group had an all-male line-up which varied in number, but mainly centred on lead singer Peter Cunnah. The live band included keyboard player Brian Cox, who is now a professor of physics and a television presenter, though Cunnah normally played keyboards on studio recordings.

Project DReaM
Project DReaM was a Sun Microsystems project aimed at developing an open interoperable DRM architecture that implements standardized interfaces. Its primary goal was the creation of a royalty-free digital rights management industry standard. On 22 August 2005, Sun announced that it was opening up Project DReaM, which had started as an internal research project, as part of their Open Media Commons initiative. It was released under the Common Development and Distribution License (CDDL). Due to inactivity on the project, it was closed and archived in August 2008. DReaM is an acronym that stands for "DRM everywhere/available".

Project Dream
Project Dream was an unreleased video game that was originally going to be released for the Super Nintendo Entertainment System (SNES), and later the Nintendo 64 by Rare. The game was instead entirely re-developed as Banjo-Kazooie, which was released for the Nintendo 64 three years later. The N64 version's initial plot was to involve around a young boy named Edison, who had caused long term trouble with pirates led by their leader, Captain Blackeye. Not much is known about the plot for the SNES version.

Windows DreamScene
Windows DreamScene is a utility that allows videos and .gif and other optimized animations to be used as desktop wallpapers. It is one of the Windows Ultimate Extras. Prior to its official announcement, DreamScene was rumored to be in creation under the names Motion Desktop and Borealis. After several months of testing, the final version was released on September 25, 2007.
