The Walser language , also known as Walliser German (locally Wallisertiitsch), is a group of Highest Alemannic dialects spoken in the German-speaking part of the Canton of Wallis  and in Walser settlements in parts of Switzerland, Italy, Liechtenstein, and Austria.
