Robert Gibbins Gard, Jr. (born January 28, 1928) is a retired United States Army lieutenant general and current chairman of the board of the Center for Arms Control and Non-Proliferation where his work focuses on nuclear nonproliferation, missile defense, Iraq, Iran, military policy, nuclear terrorism, and other national security issues.
