The Basel metropolitan area extends across three countries: Switzerland, France and Germany. The Trinational Eurodistrict Basel ( (TEB)/ (ETB)) is an organization of municipalities and cities in the area of Basel that carries out common planning. It is an extension of the Trinational Agglomeration Basel ( (TAB)/ (ATB).
