The BMW US Manufacturing Company is a vehicle assembly facility that is part of is a BMW Group and is located in Greer, South Carolina is BMW's only assembly plant in the United States. The plant's principal purpose is to assemble certain BMW models for the world market. It does not assemble all the BMW models sold in the U.S. market. The plant is currently BMW's sole global production site for X3, X4, X5, and X6 cross-over SUVs. These models are exported from BMW Spartanburg.
