The station is owned by the CBS Television Stations subsidiary of CBS Corporation, as part of a duopoly with CBS station KDKA-TV (channel 2). The two stations share studio facilities at the Gateway Center in downtown Pittsburgh, WPCW's transmitter is located in the Perry North section of Pittsburgh.
