Typhon (; , Tuphon ), also Typhoeus (; , Tuphoeus), Typhaon (, Tuphaon) or Typhos (, Tuphos), was the most fearsome monster of Greek mythology. The last son of Gaia, fathered by Tartarus, Typhon was, with his mate Echidna, the father of many famous monsters.
