Trivandrum International Airport is in Thiruvananthapuram and is the first airport in the state of Kerala, India. It was the fifth international airport of India declared by then Prime Minister Shri V.P. Singh in 1991. TIA is considered an "all weather" airport and is ISO 9001-2000 certified.
