Trump Tower in

New York.
Donald Trump worked for his
father's firm,
Elizabeth Trump & Son, while attending the
Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, and in 1968 officially joined the company. He was given control of the company in 1971 and renamed it Trump Enterprises LLC in August 1999 before changing it to Trump Organization LLC in November 1999. The company has interests in real estate development, investing, brokerage, sales and marketing, and property management. The company owns, operates,
invests, and
develops
residential real estate,
hotels,
resorts,
residential towers, and
golf courses in different countries, as well as owning several hundred thousand square feet of prime Manhattan real estate in New York City. The organization also has a stake in
Trump Entertainment Resorts, which owned the
Trump Taj Mahal, the
Trump Plaza, and the
Trump Marina casinos in
Atlantic City,
New Jersey.
