TYPE-MOON, and for his illustrations on TYPE-MOON's visual novels,
Tsukihime and
Fate/stay night, which were both later adapted into anime and
manga series. He has frequently collaborated with his longtime friend and fellow TYPE-MOON co-founder, author
Kinoko Nasu. In 2008, Takeuchi, along with Nasu, contributed the special scenario to the
Sega/
Chunsoft Wii visual novel
428: Fusa Sareta Shibuya de, which was subsequently adapted into an anime titled
