Plant perception (physiology)
Plant perception is the ability of plants to sense and respond to the environment to adjust their morphologyphysiology, and phenotype accordingly. Other disciplines such as plant physiologyecology and molecular biology are used to assess this ability. Plants react to chemicalsgravitylightmoistureinfectionstemperatureoxygen and carbon dioxide concentrations, parasite infestation, disease, physical disruption, sound, and touch.
