Parit Buntar is a merge state town in the Kerian district of Perak, Malaysia with Nibong Tebal town, Penang. It is located 40 km from Butterworth, 19 km to Simpang Ampat, Bukit Mertajam and 100 km sharp to Sungai Petani, Kedah. It is situated in the almost top part of Krian, Perak like Bukit Kayu Hitam with Kubang Pasu. Nibong Tebal and Bandar Baru is a town connected to Parit Buntar together for the people of Penang while Bandar Baru is another town linked to Parit Buntar with a river bridge for the people of Kedah.
