Mishima cattle
are a breed of cattle used in beef production. Mishima cattle are small (usually 1-1.2 m tall) and originate from tiny Mishima Island outside of HagiYamaguchi PrefectureJapan. Unlike most other Japanese cattle breeds, Mishima cattle has not been cross-bred with Western cattle.
