Line 1 Yonge–University
Line 1 Yonge–University is the oldest and busiest subway line in TorontoOntario, Canada. It is operated by the Toronto Transit Commission, has 32 stations and is in length. It opened as the Yonge subway in 1954. Various extensions were completed between 1963 and 1996. Averaging nearly 732,000 riders per weekday, the Yonge–University line is the second busiest rapid transit line in North America, after the IRT Lexington Avenue Line of the New York City Subway.
