The
Koyukon are an
Alaska Native Athabaskan people of the
Athabaskan-speaking ethnolinguistic group. Their traditional territory is along the
Koyukuk and
Yukon rivers where they subsisted by hunting and trapping for thousands of years. Many Koyukon live in a similar manner today.
