raion), one of the
thirty-six in
Tver Oblast,
Russia. It is located in the southeast of the
oblast and borders with
Kimrsky District in the northeast, the town of
Dubna,
Moscow Oblast, in the east,
Dmitrovsky District of Moscow Oblast in the southeast,
Klinsky District of Moscow Oblast in the south,
Lotoshinsky District of Moscow Oblast in the southwest, and with
Kalininsky District in the northwest. The area of the district is . Its
