The Kalinga script is one of many descendants of the ancient Brahmi script used in what is now modern Odisha. The Kalinga alphabet was primarily used to write Dravidian languages of the ancient state of Kalinga. It is visually is very similar to Brahmi and to the Kadamba alphabet.
