The Jingkang Incident , Humiliation of Jingkang , or The Disorders of the Jingkang Period took place in 1127 during the Jin–Song Wars when the invading Jurchen soldiers of the Jin dynasty besieged and sacked Bianjing (modern Kaifeng), the capital city of Song China. The Jin forces abducted Emperor Qinzong, his father the Taishang Huang, Emperor Huizong, and many members of the imperial court.
