Warsaw

and then at
University College London
, and the second part at the
University of California, Berkeley
. Neyman first introduced the modern concept of a
confidence interval
into
statistical hypothesis testing
and co-devised
null hypothesis
testing (in collaboration with
Egon Pearson
).
