Irma Serrano
Irma Consuelo Cielo Serrano Castro (; born 9 December 1933) is a Mexican singer, songwriter, actress, and politician. Famous for her "tantalizing," "untamed spitfire" voice, she is one of the most noted performers of the ranchera and corrido genres; she was nicknamed La Tigresa de la Canción Ranchera and later known simply as "La Tigresa" . Four of her greatest hits reached the Audiomusica list of top songs in Mexico: "Miel amarga" peaked at number 5 in 1966, "Tierra mala" peaked at number 4 in 1966, "El puente roto" peaked at 4 in 1966, and "La Martina" peaked at number 5 in 1967.
