The International Society for Stem Cell Research (ISSCR) is an independent nonprofit organization currently run by CEO Nancy Witty. The ISSCR was founded in 2002 to foster the exchange of information on stem cell research and claims more than 4,100 members worldwide. The ISSCR holds a large vibrant conference every year.
