Hadit (sometimes
Had) refers to a
Thelemic version of
Chaos. Hadit is the principal speaker of the second chapter of
The Book of the Law (written or received by
Aleister Crowley in 1904). He may refer to the serpent Apophis. Crowley also identified Chaos as the "father of life" and counterpart of
Babalon.
