Glass House Mountains, Queensland
Glass House Mountains (also spelled Glasshouse Mountains) is a hinterland town of the Sunshine CoastQueenslandAustralia, named after the famous Glass House Mountains of the area. It is located approximately north of Brisbane, belonging to the Sunshine Coast Regional Council local government area . Colloquially it is often known simply as "Glasshouse". At the 2011 census, Glass House Mountains had a population of 4,791.

Glass House Mountains
The Glass House Mountains are a group of eleven hills that rise abruptly from the coastal plain on the Sunshine CoastQueenslandAustralia. The highest hill is Mount Beerwah at 556 m above sea level, but the most identifiable of all the hills is Mount Tibrogargan which from some directions appears to be a face staring out to sea.
