The Georgian Soviet Socialist Republic (Georgian SSR; sakartvelos sabch'ota socialist'uri resp'ublik'a; Gruzinskaya Sovetskaya Sotsialisticheskaya Respublika) was one of the republics of the Soviet Union from its inception in 1922 to its breakup in 1991.
