The Free National Movement (FNM) is a conservative political party in The Bahamas formed in the 1970s. The current leader of the party is Dr. Hubert Minnis and his deputy is Loretta Butler-Turner who served as Minister of Social Services during the same period. It is the largest opposition party in the Bahamas by number of seats in the Legislature.The FNM is a party to the right of the Bahamian political spectrum.
