Etche is a Local Government Area (LGA) in Rivers State, Nigeria, named after the Etche ( Echie) people of Southern Nigeria. The Etche are Igbo people and they speak Igbo language. They also inhabit Omuma LGA; Etche/Omuma is a National Assembly constituency.
