The Dorian Awards are an annual endeavor organized by the Gay and Lesbian Entertainment Critics Association (GALECA). GALECA is a national association of professional journalists and critics covering film and television for print, online and broadcast outlets in the U.S., Canada and the United Kingdom. As of February 2016, GALECA counted 140 members in its ranks.
