Docklands Studios Melbourne is a major film and television production complex located in Melbourne’s redeveloped docklands precinct. The studios opened their doors in 2004 under the former name (Melbourne Central City Studios). The site is located approximately from the city of Melbourne’s Central Business District. It has an area of 60,000 square metres and currently consists of five film and television sound stages.
