Dheerendra Gopal was a popular Kannada actor and stage artiste. The multi-faceted character was popular in Kannada cinema as a supporting actor mostly playing the role of a villain or a comedian. He was known for his perfect dialogue delivery. He died in Davangere on December 25, 2000, at the age of 59.
