Constitution of Denmark
The Constitutional Act of Denmark is the main part of the constitution of Kingdom of Denmark. First written in 1849, it establishes a sovereign state in the form of a constitutional monarchy, with a representative parliamentary system. The later sections of the Constitution guarantee fundamental human rights and lay out the duties of citizens. The current Constitution was signed on 5 June 1953 as "the existing law, for all to unswerving comply with, the Constitutional Act of Denmark".
