The Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine (, Kabinet ministriv Ukrayiny; shortened to CabMin), commonly referred to as the Government of Ukraine (, Uryad Ukrayiny), is the highest body of state executive power in Ukraine. The first modern national government of Ukraine was established in 1917 as the regional government of the Russian Republic - General Secretariat. General Secretariat was officially recognized by the Russian Provisional Government on 1 September 1917.
