The Bottineau LRT (Metro Blue Line Extension) is a proposed light rail line extension in the Minneapolis – Saint Paul Metro area that will run from downtown Minneapolis along County Road 81 to Brooklyn Park. Bottineau LRT will be the next light rail line built in the Twin Cities after the Southwest LRT.
