The Boston Elevated Railway (BERy) was a precursor first to the Metropolitan Transit Authority in Massachusetts, now the Massachusetts Bay Transportation Authority, operating rapid transit, streetcars, and buses in the Boston area. It was formerly known as the West End Street Railway.
