Birgitte, Duchess of Gloucester, (née Birgitte Eva Henriksen; formerly van Deurs; born on 20 June 1946), is the wife of Prince Richard, Duke of Gloucester, who is a grandson of King George V and Queen Mary and first cousin of Queen Elizabeth II. Together with her husband, Birgitte undertakes royal duties on behalf of the Queen.
