, originally nicknamed Rosy the Rascal, is a fictional character in Sega's Sonic the Hedgehog series of video games. She is a pink anthropomorphic hedgehog with a cheerful, competitive personality. Amy is known for her unrequited and obsessive love for the series' main character Sonic. They have saved each other's lives on a number of occasions, however, and are very good friends. During the series' early years, her appearance changed several times.
