Alvin and the Chipmunks: Chipwrecked is a 2011 American live-action comedy film directed by Mike Mitchell. It is the third installment in the Alvin and the Chipmunks film series, the film stars Jason Lee, David Cross and Jenny Slate with the voices of Justin Long, Matthew Gray Gubler, Jesse McCartney, Amy Poehler, Anna Faris and Christina Applegate. It was distributed by 20th Century Fox and produced by Fox 2000 Pictures, Regency Enterprises and Bagdasarian Company. The film is a sequel to the 2007 film Alvin and the Chipmunks and its 2009 sequel Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Squeakquel, and it was released on December 16, 2011. A fourth film, Alvin and the Chipmunks: The Road Chip, was released on December 18, 2015.
