Alara (Azerbaijanese: ӘЛӘРӘ, Tatar: ӘЛЕРӘ) is a water fairy from Turkic mythology. ӘЛӘРӘ is also referenced in the mythelogies of Siberian peoples and told in the folklore and elders' stories among the Yakut people.
