Age Discrimination in Employment Act
The Age Discrimination in Employment Act of 1967, Pub. L. No. 90-202, codified at through (ADEA), forbids employment discrimination against anyone at least 40 years of age in the United States (see ). The bill was signed into law in 1967 by President Lyndon B. Johnson.
