The Association of Southeast Asian Institutions of Higher Learning (ASAIHL) is a non-governmental organization founded in 1956 that renewed operational relations with UNESCO in 2003 to assist higher learning institutions in strengthening themselves through a mutual self-help and to achieve international distinction in teaching, research and public service.
