National Football League. The club posted a 10–3–1 record under seventh-year head coach
Vince Lombardi, earning them a tie for first place in the Western Conference with the
Baltimore Colts. The Packers and Colts played a one-game playoff in Green Bay on December 26, which the Packers won in overtime, 13–10.
